She earned her B.A. in English with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before entering the mental health field, Katherine worked in human resources and learning & development for technology startups, a chapter that sparked her deep interest in organizational psychology, creative problem-solving, and working closely with people.
Her passion for meaningful connection eventually led her to pursue a career in therapy. Katherine went on to earn her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and has since gained experience in a range of clinical settings, including community mental health clinics, the OC LGBTQ Center, and private practice in Irvine.
Katherine is especially passionate about family therapy and believes strongly in the transformative impact of engaging the entire family system in the healing process. She is guided by the belief that lasting change happens when loved ones grow together.
