Born and raised in Costa Rica, Francis began his culinary journey in 1991, working his way through restaurant kitchens and discovering a deep passion for food and service. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, he combines his love for cooking with a long-standing commitment to caring for others, especially those navigating mental health challenges, a cause close to his heart through personal family experience.
At the Arrow House, Francis infuses every meal with warmth, creativity, and a touch of Caribbean and Central American flavor. Whether it’s sushi, empanadas, seafood paella, or sweet plantains, he finds joy in preparing food that comforts and delights. For Francis, the kitchen is not just a place to cook, it’s a place to connect.
